I started to write about this stuff at the NYCFC Forums site. Now I do it both here and there. Anything posted here with a date before September 2016 is almost certainly an exact copy or slight adaptation from something I posted there. I am in the process of re-publishing those archives here so the past is currently a little spotty.
I am not a statistician and do not have training in the field. I am reasonably good with numbers and am willing to dig up and identify some MLS statistics — especially as they relate to NYCFC — and present them in what I hope is an interesting format.
Comments are welcome. Be nice. I reserve the right to do whatever I want which basically means deleting or banning. I run two other blogs and have never done either outside of spam. Use your real name in the comments. That’s not a rule I’ll require but I highly suggest it, and if you ever do come close to tempting me to take some enforcement action, you’ll get more leeway with a real identity.
Finally, you may quote any or all of any post in any other website subject to three conditions: First you credit me and link back to my post. Second, you do not alter what I write in any way: no word changes and no spelling changes are allowed. Third, commercial sites cannot use my work without express written prior permission. If you have a personal site with a few ads to help you with hosting costs, that’s OK. The determination of whether you fall within my definition of commercial is up to me. If you are uncertain, please contact me first. Failure to comply with any of the above conditions will be met with a DMCA takedown notice.
